VeChek Cryptosporidium Ag, cassette
| Brand: VeCheck |
The Cryptosporidium Antigen Rapid Test Cassette (Feces) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Cryptosporidium antigens in animal feces.
It is a lateral flow immunoassay in which the membrane is pre-coated with monoclonal antibodies against Cryptosporidium antigens in the test line region. During testing, if present in the specimen, Cryptosporidium antigens bind to anti-Cryptosporidium antibody-conjugated particles pre-dried on the test strip. The complex migrates along the membrane by capillary action. In a positive result, the antigen-antibody complexes react with immobilized antibodies on the membrane, producing a colored line in the test line region. A procedural control line will always appear in the control line region, confirming proper sample volume and membrane wicking.
Store as packaged in the sealed pouch at room temperature or refrigerated (2–30 °C). The test is stable until the expiration date printed on the pouch. The cassette must remain in the sealed pouch until use. Do not freeze.
