The Fuller DI-12 Feline Heartworm Antibody IFA Kit is an indirect immunofluorescence assay (IFA) designed for the detection of antibodies against Dirofilaria immitis (heartworm) in feline serum samples. The test utilizes antigen-coated substrate slides and fluorescein-labeled anti-species conjugate for visualization of specific antibody binding.
The assay includes positive and negative control sera and is intended for use in reference or veterinary diagnostic laboratories. Results are interpreted by fluorescence microscopy based on the presence or absence of specific immunofluorescent staining patterns.
